Thermwood home page

The fourth word on the Thermwood home-page is "manufacturers" instead of "manufactures".

Just thought I'd pass that along. What can I say, it's breaktime.

Hi Jeremy,

Unless we changed it, I looked up manufacturers and that is correct. If you google manufactures it wants to suggest the first.

Might want to check a dictionary instead of Google:
Manufacturer [man-yuh-fak-cher-er]

–noun
1. a person, group, or company that owns or runs a manufacturing plant.
2. a person, group, or company that manufactures.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Origin:
1710–20; manufacture + -er 1
Dictionary.com Unabridged (v 1.1)
Based on the Random House Unabridged Dictionary, © Random House, Inc. 2006.
Since the phrase "Thermwood Corporation primarily manufacturers a broad line of machine tools called CNC routers" refers to the act of creating something and not the company that is creating, manufactures is the correct term.

"Thermwood is a manufracturer that manufactures CNC routers."

Sorry Jason...
