maintenance question

Post by Darren Harvey »

good morning guys. just got asked a question about when the maintenance is suppose to be done. i replied with every 40 hours. we have ran the machine over 40 hours, and the maintenance warning light hasn't appeared. i've looked through the 2 manuals we own with no luck. does someone know how i can get through all the maintenance and logged ,and get things reset to get me the proper warning signs. thanks for you help, darren

Darren, I can give a quick reply to this, but I'm no expert. From what I understand, the maintenance schedule isn't just machine hours, but more complicated than that. The system tracks use of individual components independently, too. The air conditioner filter is most likely based on machine hours, but something like a ball screw isn't. The ball screws, from what my memory serves, are clocked independently and only when used. Does this help?
