Hi Mohan,

As we discussed in our phone conversation this morning, DXF files do not currently support multi drill, drilling operations, however, we are aware of this particular situation and will work on addressing it as soon as possible. The other option that you would have, would be to create your panels in eCabinet software and then nest the twd file in control nesting. I will take the sample dxf file that you mentioned you were going to email, and try to give you an example on how to utilize with eCab part editor.

After looking into this issue more, it seems that CN is able to select the drill bank when using dxf files, but it only seems to be able to do this with imperial settings and dxf files. We will need to test this more to make sure though.

This has been tested on both metric and imperial machines. If CN is set to imperial and the dxf is imperial, Cn can sellect the drill bank if set up properly. This means that you are able to convert your dxf file to imperial and then change CN to "inches and decimals" in the settings area and you will be able to nest and write the cnc code to use the drill banks.

Mohan,

Just wanted to follow up and see if you were able to get the part cut using this conversion for now? If you had any issues please send an email with all the needed files(dxf file and machine export) to program@thermwood.com. Thanks!
