Is it possible to machine some vgroove 1/8" deep in granit(photocarving) on our Thermwood ? If so, what type of tooling ?

Dan,

Thermwood routers are not set up to cut granite. Cutting granite typically requires a high HP spindle and low RPM along with some sort of constant flood of coolant on the tool and work piece during during the cutting process. As far as tooling, typically diamond tipped tooling is used from my understanding.
