Problems with drawer boxes tenons
Is there any known problems in 5.56 about drawer boxes tenons ? We just machined a job and everything is ok but the drawer boxes, tenons are not the thickness we asked, we use 50% with 0.025 tolerance but they are something like 0.26 thick. I attached the .twd wich I renamed .doc. In eCabs all the settings are ok. I try a couple jobs and get same results. I'd like to upgrade to 5.57 but not enough space, I order the retrofit c: drive but I think it will take at least another week.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Problems with drawer boxes tenons
It's a bug.
The CNC output is using the tenon depth setting (in my case .3125") as the depth of cut instead of the % set in the 'blind dado thickness %' dialog.
TWD should be able to send you a fix for this by replacing the drawerbox.dll file.
Hopefully they will consider posting it for all to use but if not I'm sure it will be in the next Ecabs update.
As far as I know it is not related to CN software at all.

Thank you, I'll hope they'll post it soon cause I have jobs to complete !
Re: Problems with drawer boxes tenons
Dan,
You will need to submit your EXPORT file along with CNC and the .hsf file so we can verify your issue and if the DLL file will fix. Send to: program@thermwood.com

Hmmm. That's an interesting bug.
On your CN window you will see export on the bottom left corner of the window - hit it and follow the directions. Once complete attach it in a new post.

Re: Problems with drawer boxes tenons
Drawer boxes are stored in their own directory inside of the ecabinet systems directory. If you are running Windows Vista or 7 it will be located in the "C:\users\public\documents\ecabinet systems\drawer boxes" directory. If you are running Windows XP it will be located in the "C:\ Documents and Settings\All Users\documents\Thermwood\ecabinet systems\drawer box" directory. You will find a .hsf and a .jpg of the drawer box stored there. Please send those to program@thermwood.com along with the export file from your control. Thanks.

Re: Problems with drawer boxes tenons
This is not a Control Nesting issue but an Ecabinets issue.
