Off-fall trimming problem

Post by Dale Wills »

Hi,
We have noticed that when our machine is trimming up an off-fall, the cutter is cutting into any parts beside the off-fall. It is cutting into the part by around 2-3mm. This spells a big problem when machining doors. Logic would suggest that I have the tool dimention set wrong but I have double checked all this and its set correct. It appears to be a programming error on control nests behalf. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I missing something?

Hi Dale,

If you could please, send the following files to: program@thermwood.com so that we can review:

- EXPORT from Control Nesting (Button at lower right of C.N. Screen, first next job prior to selecting)
- Actual CNC code you've run and seen issue occur with
- Cabinet/Part design file (.hsf, .esa, etc...)

Thanks!
