Dado bug?

Post by Josh Rayburn »

Please see attached job file.
Take batch item 1 to CE and nest from CE.
Look at both dado operations on the left end and the right end - one of each is at .77 wide and the other is at .95 wide. I cannot explain how I even got code out of this file, but clearly something is wrong because the parts are not correct (I already ruined a couple sheets). There may be a number of errors here, software, CN....?? but I cannot figure it out.
When did the full dado operation wider than the largest tool in tooling setup automatically form a pocket cleanup operation, and why does this not happen for blind dadoes??
Export to follow shortly.
Thanks,
jnr

Josh,

Do you have the EXPORT and .CNC file supporting this issue? I would like to see in order to resolve this issue.

Josh,

I do see the oversize dado on each side panel as you mention and will keep the files under review to determine if this is a bug.

What can I do to cut my customer two usable parts in the meantime, do you have any suggestions?

I would try the same design using shelves vs. TOP and DECK ..... just a thought.
