Do back operations from DXF files work the same as other flip ops in control nesting?
Load back side up, 2 (or 3) edge trim, then load front side...
Thanks

Daniel,
Yes, same concept applies. You will need to simply name the Layer name in which the backside operation exist by proceding layer name with word Back. An example of a 1/4" deep dado would be as follows:
back dado z0p25

Re: DXF file back operations
Ryan,
Would that actualy make a 1/4 deep dado or a 1/2 deep dado in 3/4 material? The way I would make a 1/4 deep back dado in 3/4 material is back dado z0p5.

That is correct Scott, exactly how you described. Very confusing but it works.

Re: DXF file back operations
Yes, as Josh has stated, resulting depth would be .5 if material is .75 thick. I appologize for not being clear, I had used a sample part that was .5 thick, which would have resulted in the 1/4" deep dado as I had written it. It does throw a bit of a curve in there that you need to think from top side of material when defining the back operation depth.
