Auto Lube Hose Broken

Hey Hows it going?

We've just had the auto lube hose break on the x axis and its getting fixed today, can i still run it with out the auto lube? just for like a few sheets not all day!

Having a broken auto lube line will not keep the machine from running but you will have to remember that none of the bearings are getting oil at that time. All of it is going out through the broken line. I would pinch it off so that the other bearings are getting the oil and then replace it as soon as possible...

We had that happen here and ran a couple days before getting repaired. I just had the guys drip a little oil on the screws and such twice a day until we got repaired. No issues here. Didn't think to pinch/plug the hole.

We got it sorted the next day, and its as good as new! Not bad for a 6 y/o machine thats gone threw 2 major quakes!
