Hello,

I'm getting this error message on our model 40. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Did you get this resolved? I assume your tool is stuck in the router? When this happens sometimes just a good tap on the nut will release it. Be careful to hold a box under it to catch the tool when it pops out. Forrest

Thanks, Forrest.

No, it seems to be a faulty sensor.

We had the same problem. The sensors are adjustable but you want to rule out other issues before you adjust them & Thermwood service should be involved to decide if the sensors should be adjusted. Other issues could include worn or dirty tool holders dirty spindle taper.
If this issue is showing up with one tool-holder then that would indicate a tool-holder issue. If it is intermittent on all tool holders it could be a dirty spindle taper or faulty sensor.

Thanks for the replies. I've had low air/no air in the past, & a toolholder sticking. This time it would release the tool but not make the final push that seats it in the rack. With tech help, we established that S1 was faulty, it inputs as s2 on the F6/F3 screen & was constantly on, inc. when the green release button was pressed. New sensor & we're cutting again.
In 5 years I've had a dodgy vdu & now this. I wish my car was as dependable, or the service as good.
