Looks like our vacuum is less effective than it was, we have not change anything lately. Is it possible that the vacuum pump become less effective over the years ?

Re: Vacuum less effective
They will need a service/rebuild in their lifetime. We've had both of ours rebuilt. They are about 7 years old.

Dan,
It is possible that your vacuum pump may need maintenance. Over the years the seals, etc can become worn and efficiency can be lost. You may want to contact CNC Automation's service department and speak with one of the technicians.
Some additional things to check things to check:
You can contact CNC Automation's Service Department at: 1-866-947-5527

Some additional things to check things to check:
- Have the pumps filters been changed recently?
- Is the seal under your main spoilboard intact (no gaps, no rollover)?
- Has your main spoilboard been resurfaced recently to reopen/roughen the mdf?
- If your main spoilboard has been recently replaced, was the underside also surfaced in order to open up the sealed factory "finish" (by 0.020"-0.050")?

Re: Vacuum less effective
Is there a way to "test" the vacuum pump before having a guy from bush coming to check it ?

Re: Vacuum less effective
if you are desperate. disconnect the vacuum hose and block off the pump inlet with a piece of mdf start with 50 % blockage aand advance to 90% looking at your gauges
