Edit Material A Side problem

Post by David Egnoski »

A word of caution.

I ran two jobs yesterday where my customer used the new "Edit Material A Side" feature. For both jobs there is a row of shelf pin holes along the top of the second sheet near the right edge. On the third sheet there is one odd hole in the far upper right corner. None of these holes seem to be related to the jobs and the holes are in the same place in both jobs. In the first job the holes where in the waste. In the second job, they where in a part that shouldn't have had any holes.

I've sent the related files to Thermwood so they can troubleshoot.

All I did was verify that his issue was valid and not a settings issue. I do not know what the cause is. The software engineers have to figure that out. Once I know more, I will let you know.

I have been informed that this issue has been found and will be corrected in the next release of Control Nesting. Unfortunately, I do not know when it will be released.
