Custom moulding

Post by DanFecteau »

I'm interested in custom moulding capabilities of eCabinets, carving program rental and the rotary playback device. I know I'll need to upgrade our thermwood if we want to be able to use this, I'd like to know if some are already working with any of those and if it works well and if it worths the money to upgrade. We are able to do custom moulding with mastercam already. What is exactly the rotary playback device ?
Thank you.

I realize you are looking for feedback from actual users. But the Rotary Playback Device allows you to machine posts and table legs ... basically roundwork requiring you to rotate the part during machining. For the other things you're asking about, some information can be found on our website. http://www.thermwood.com

* It locates on top of the table towards the front running along the X-axis.
* Accepts 8\" diameter parts
* It is removable...allowing you to take it off and on as needed.
* Intended for round-work such as table legs, posts, etc.
* When attached, you will have a fouth axis, which rotates the headstock.
* Works with any rotary CNC Rental Program we offer as well.

That's everything off the top of my head.
If you would like more info such as pricing, let me know and I can have your account manager contact you or you can call in (800) 533-6901. He can send you a quote or we may even have videos of it machining a part. Depending on how serious you are, we can cut one of your parts so you can see the quality you will get.
Hope this helps a little! Happy Holidays!

Rotary Playback

It is something that I am very interested in, but would probably not purchase for 6 months. If you have a video I would like to see it in operation.

Thanks,

Zach
