We have a red tint to our display screen on the controller that just showed up the last couple of weeks.
Machine is a 2007 CS 45 with win XP operating system. I have changed video cables, video card, memory, and monitor none of which changed the situation. I have also booted to a linux operating system off a cd to eliminate a software issue and the red tint remained.
I am thinking the mother board at this point but would love to find another solution.
Any help would be most welcome!!
Thanks,
Gerry

Gerry,
What color is the tint of your sunglasses?
Wow... I might have thought a magnetic influence throwing off one of the old CRT electron guns. But seeing as you have changed out practically everything - including the monitor... welll...

Re: 2007 CS45 strange video problem
Hi Brad,
Yes it is very strange. The display is perfect other than the red tint. It doesn't seem like what you would expect from a failing AGP port? If I could track down a PCI video card I could try that otherwise I'm stumped.

Re: 2007 CS45 strange video problem
Hi,
So I was looking for a PCI video card and found a nice ATI AGP card and thought what the heck I may as well try it..............IT WORKS!!!!
Both the other cards were Nvidia so I don't know if that was the issue but I don't care at this point
Thanks
