I noticed the latest control nesting update includes a fix for Microvellum. I've got a customer that's starting to send in Microvellum files and would love to share dos and don'ts with anyone using Microvellum.
Please drop me a line.

Dave

David,
All of the same rules apply to files developed in Microvellum. The layer naming conventions will work as in other softwares such as Turbo Cad or Autocad. The best suggestion to anyone creating files for you is to make sure the geometry is clean and connected. The only stipulation for Microvellum files is that they be saves with the following extention (.mvdxf), rather than just .dxf. Please, check the online manual for the Control Nesting software at http://www.thermwood.com by selecting it from the menu on the left side of the screen.
