Need some help with home position

Post by Scott Marshburn »

The home switch broke. We got the new one on and now the home position seems to be off by about 1/4 inch in X. I verified this by moving the machine to the 902 position. Does any one have a clue on how to get it back in alignment.

Hi Forrest.
Thanks for the reply. That was the first thing that I done. It seemed that the guys were very busy today because I was not able to get ahold of anyone for a couple of hours (or at least that is how long it seemed to me) I did get in touch with them. The issue was I did not have the home switch close enough to the metal plate. The light was coming on and the machine thought it was homed but it was about 1/2” back from true home. I think I have here fixed now.
