UPS for THERMWOOD MODEL 45 logic & drives

Hello.

We are in an area that has quite a few power on/offs and it bit us today be wiping out our tooling on the hard drive. Power flashed and file was corrupt.

I looked at the PS and it appears to fed from a 240v step down board to 120 (machine was running so I am guessing on this) which then leads to the MOBO power supply. Seems to be pretty straight forward; just unplug the PS, mount a UPS and then connect the ends.

would this present any danger to the machine having the logic and drives powered on while the rest of the machine is un-energized (provided the mod was done correctly that is ?)

Is there an OEM part # for a UPS for this machine ?
