THM Version 10

Post by Thomas strembitsky »

I accidently upgraded to version 10 with out realizing that it was a full version bump. is it possible to roll back? if not where can I direct feedback on the new UI? is there any possibility of getting a change log of whats new?
also why did you remove the verify tooling icon and the return to nest based view?

Thomas,

Unfortunately not an easy undo to roll back to previous version. You can email your feedback to program@thermwood.com and we can forward it to appropriate software engineers. There actually wasn't a whole lot changed beyond the the view of THM. The only additions over previous version was that the favorites menu can now have 16 favorites instead of 10, and the Program Timer added on the right (the timer is still in development stages). The software engineers are looking into adding the Verify Tooling icon back in. In regards to the "return to nest based view" icon, do you mean return to CNC icon for when exiting Nested Base View? If so, there is an icon for it. Its the icon at the top on the right of the row of icons that has the XYZ. It will return you to CNC view.

Ah, I apologize, I'm used to going under View, Application View, and choosing Nested Base View. I'll pass the request on about the icon.

A couple of clients have contacted us here at CNC Automation about these "AWOL" icons on the tool bar.

We have spoken to Thermwood's "Software Support" and have forwarded our suggestion to "reintroduce" these icons back using the free space available.

Fingers crossed for the next update.

I see there's a newer version now. Are the missing icons back? Just wanna make sure before I install. I don't want to lose the verify tooling icon...
