Office 2010 Compatibility

Post by Tommy Wieler »

Greetings all.
Just wondering if there are any plans to make control nesting compatible with Excel files saved in Office 2010. The new file extensions are .xlsx, but importing an excel file into control nesting is currently limited to the old .xls files. We've developed a system in excel for our 5-piece solid door orders that involves a few macros, so our file extensions end up being .xlsm. Quite often our office staff forget to save the excel files into the old format... just saying.

I added a save to excel 97-2003 save button in my quick access bar which makes things easier. I think it had something to do with crystal reports back in the day not liking the new file extension... just speculation on my part though
