Fixture offset changes Model CS-45 WinXP vs. C-50 Win7

Post by Richard White »

Not sure of the version, but I think it is 6.
Here we go, we now have 2 routers, one is an older C-50 that was upgraded to Win7. This newer machine runs on XP I think. Anyway, on the older C-50 machine we were able to change the fixture offset to accommodate each individual fixture placed on the table. I think that is because the controller was upgraded.
I am not able to do that on the CS-45 machine. I can get to the screen, input numbers, but no choices on saving said changes. We have about 75 programs or so, and each must be on its own offset or things get ugly quick. We do very little wood cutting but more aluminum machining, very light machining. It works, this CS-45 has a tool changer which will be the cats meow.

Any advice? I believe they are planning to upgrade to a newer version.

Thanks

Richard

Set the fixture offset and then push F10 then then press Y to keep the changes.

Richard,

Which manual are you looking at? I have checked back to an old 91000 Super Control user manual, version 5.05, (the big blue book) and the information for setting the offset is complete inside of it.

Daniel,

This is a case of not looking thru enough pages. I did in fact find where one needs to press F10.
This control is much different than our C50 which has been upgraded.

Thanks for looking into this.
