Why would you flip?

Post by Thom Davies »

Hey How's it all going?

I had some shelfs which had a dado on them and nothing else but it made it in to a filp op. And i had an right hand end which had screw holes and adj shelf holes on the one end and it made the adj shelf holes in to another filp op. I am running RN 4.89

Thanks

Hi Thom,

Here is the same cabinet revised and without the slots in the doors. The only parts it seems to want to flip now are the partitions. I am not for sure why it wanted to flip the end panels but will look into it further. Do you know the steps that it took to create this cabinet?

thanks,

Thom,

I drill my shelf holes a little deeper than the partition so they do not require a flip. This used to cause some strange things to happen but was resolved in V4.1.

I just recently had this proble from an old seed cabinet that had settings for the tennons to be cut on the bottom and others set on the top.

Hey Jason how's it going?

Sorry the delay in replying. Very Busy!

The steps to make the unit are as follows:

Type in the sizes needed, then put in the partions in, then put the doors on,then put the fixed shelf in (the opening hieght is 900mm from the bottom), then put in the Adj shelfs, then took each door into part editor to apply the groove.

Wait on a second: my post in ecab called my 3mm drill hole. might have something to do with this as well.

Thanks
