I have not verified it but are you saying that the clean-up pass around the perimeter of the pocket is NOT performed with cutter comp active?
I can understand the actual clearing zig-zag or spiral being pure centerline - offset by CN to avoid gouging the final perimeter. CAD/CAM packages do this all the time. I would have thought that the acutal final \"finishing pass\" would have followed the perimeter geometry and have been comp'd with a G41 or G42 as appropriate.
The only reason that I could see it not being implemented this way would be that Control Nesting could insure that areas too small for the tool to enter into would be avoided.... (??)
I'll get one of my guys to check it out for me. (Its nice to have \"guys\" to check things out! ha ha)
