Dove Tail Tooling

Post by Bill OConnell »

I purchased the tooling to do dovetail drawers on our CS-45 using the new capabilities provided in version 5 of eCabinets software. I can't seem to find any reference to how the tooling should be set up in the router so that it differentiates a 1/2\" dove tail tool from any other 1/2\" bit. Any suggestions?

Hi Bill,

If you load Control Nesting, go into the tooling area. You need to make an operation using a .375 tool and check the box for Dovetail Tool. You will need to mic the tool at the bottom of it. It should be close to .375\".
