wrong tool creating dado

Post by Chris Say »

Sometime after we installed the control nesting build 5.02 our machine started to do our dados with a diferent bit then we wanted it to. i turned off the interpolate, the drill, and the route and it still wants to use that bit. i even tried to remove it from the tool list. the machined has always used just one bit to do the dados and now it is trying to use two. we want it to use only one again. it only does this on our 1\" material and sometimes on our flip operations.

how do i make my machine use only one tool to do these dados

Chris,

I talked to Matt Beaty about the same problem. He said that he went in to change his tooling order in RN. Just reset the order to what it was allready, and it works now.

Brian

P.S. How about those Bears! Sorry, I had to add that Chris.

Thanks for the input. It seems like David's idea explains what is going on. I will try to change the tooling order and see if it works. I was on an emotional rollercoaster last night with the Cardinals. It felt like I had my wallet stolen. They are called the Cardiac Cards for a reason. Go Big Red!!
