Inset handle route

Post by Dave McPherson »

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to route a slot for an applied inset handle. The CNC is leaving alittle bit left over in the center. The cabinet was drawn in e-cabinets, i am not sure if this is a ecabinets issue or a Thermwood CNC setting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

Not a big deal, but i can not get the ALT-PRINT SCREEN feature to work from the machine keyboard. So, i took a digital pick

Thanks

Hi Dave,

Can you also post the .hsf file for this part in eCabinets or you can email it to cabinets@thermwood.com?

Hi Dave,

When I nest this I get a pocket routine. On yours, it looks like it tried to circle interpolate. Look at the pic below and does yours look like this on the screen? What version of Control Nesting are you using?

thanks,

This is a bug in the spiral pocket routine. Change your \"step\" to 50% and all will be well.

Hi David,

I had mine set to Spiral with a 90% stepover and it worked. What version do you have installed?

Jason,

I'm still on 4.94. According to the release notes, it looks like this may have been addressed with 5.02.

Dave M.
What version of CN are you running?

Dave
