I HAVE HAD MY MODEL 45 SINCE SEPTEMBER AND HAVE BEEN ROLLING ALONG GREAT. UP UNTIL NOW WE HAVE BEEN USING ROLLING NEST TO CUT OUR SIMPLE PARTS.NOW WE ARE STARTING TO DO PROFILES. I KNOW MOST OF YOU ARE CABINET AND FURNITURE MAKERS. WE ARE A CUSTOM ARCHITECTURAL CAST STONE COMPANY AND WE ARE USING THE MACHINE TO MAKE OUR PARTS FOR MOULDS. THE QUESTION IS ;AFTER YOU MAKE A TOOL IN PART EDITER AND SEND IT TO PROFILE MODELER HOW DO YOU SET THE FIXTURE OFFSET FOR THE PART ON THE TABLE??? I KNOW THAT A SCREEN POPS UP WHILE IN PROFILE M. THAT ASKS FOR MANUAL OR FIXTURE # DO YOU NEED TO FIND WHERE THE PART WILL BE LOCATED BEFORE I START PROFILE MOD.?? ALSO WHEN SETTING UP MY TOOLS IN PROFILE M IT ASKS FOR A FLUTE LENGTH. DO I NEED TO MEASURE ALL MY TOOLS BY HAND WITH A TAPE,OR CAN I JUST ENTER 1\" SINCE I WILL ONLY CUT INTO THE PART LESS THAN 1\" ANYWAY??ANOTHER ? DO I NEED TO ENTER ALL THE TOOLS IN MY CHANGERM,7 STYLE BAR, OR ONLY THE ONES I WANT TO USE FOR PROFILES, AND WILL THE AUTO TOOL CHANGER AUTOMATICALLY WORK WITH PROFILE MOD. HELP HELP HEL[P!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Hi Robert,
Normally you want to use the fixture #. This is using one of your fixture offsets which is located if you press F10, F4, F4 on the controller. Your fixture offset can be the corner of your part closest to home or opposite side of the part if using the X and Y SHIFT. You do need to know this before creating the cnc code.
You can setup your flute length to 1\". You only need to put your tools that you are going to use for the profile modeler into the tool changer and the machine will automatically change tools during the program if you are using more than 1 tool.
If you go to Thermwood.com and click on the Profile Modeler Manual, this should explain all of the settings.
