nesting added sheets

Post by Michael S Murray »

Hello everyone,
I am having trouble using added sheets in nesting, seems like I can only enter 1 sheet per nest, is this correct or am I missing something(I HOPE)?
I can add more than one sheet, but when it nests, it only takes 1 to use.

Thanks for any help.

Hi Mike,

Are they made of the same material? You should be able to add multiple offalls as long as the offalls are of the same material as what the job has.

Hi Jason, yes, so far what I have tried to add is the same material that the job is using, I have used the drop down menu to pick the mat. description and then enter the size. this works or seems to work, but when I nest it only seems to use one of the sheet sizes and not multiples. These are sheets that I have manually entered, not offall #'s from the router. The sheet seems to show on the add sheets area, but when I nest it just seems to use one of them?
Thanks,
MIke

Are you sure you are clicking the \"Accept sheet\" button after each entry?

Hey Nick,
Yes I beleive so, and after I do, it shows the sheet in the window on that same screen, but when I nest it will only use one sheet per nest...
Thanks,
Mike
