chain compout have to be inside outline?

Post by FredHirsch »

Does the chain compout object/layer have to be inside the outline object? I have 3 objects I have to cut and the only way I can get them to cut is by putting inside a outline rectangle and then let the machine make an extra pass around the 3 objects at the end. Does anyone have a workaround. I have a ton of these to cut and it would be great to get rid of the extra pass around the objects.
Thanks,
Fred

Fred,

With the release of CN 5.08 a \"supress outline cuts\" option was added to CN. It works great.

Hope this helps.

Dave

Dave,
Thank you for the response. Works like a champ. I never even thought to look for that check box.
