feature request for control nesting

Post by Mark Hesketh »

one thing i would really love to see in a new version of the control nesting software would be the ability to filter jobs for nesting. i quite often will run all my finished parts for a couple of weeks all at once to keep the finishers ahead, and then go back and cut the rest of the white mel parts for each job. right now i have to go in and individually select each part to cut or leave out. it would be a HUGE time saver if i could just click on an option to nest a certain material and leave the rest out. it would also eliminate the occasional \"missing\" of a part in the finished batch, and needing to go back to cut it later.

Yes, that wold be a good time saver. I would like to see it added. I usually nest the whole job then delete the unwanted material from the cnc.

Hi All,

Just to let you know, I've discussed this request with the Software develpement team here at Thermwood and this is actually something they have planned to implement into Control Nesting. I was told you can expect to see this option in the future.
