Dovetail drawer tool for baltic birch

Post by DanFecteau »

We run our dovetail drawers out of 0.580 baltic birch plywood. I was wondering wich tool would be the best for me since you have tools for 1/2\" and 5/8\" materials ?

Thanks.

Dan,
Both tools will work for your material but I would go with the 1/2 bit. This will give you the flexability to use thicker or thinner material to a certain extent. Most of the customers I have worked with were using the 1/2 tool on 5/8 material with great success.
