We have many profiles for our shapers and molder....is there a way we can use them on the CNC?
This would be for doing eliptical and circular crown moldings and casings....

Shaper heads on the CNC
Wood Butcher/Case Maker
You can use shaper/molding heads as long as the following standards are met:
- Correct style arbor to fasten cutting heads too, which will be held by toolholders on CNC.
- Shaper Head to Arbor fastening method that will ensure heads do not spin themselves loose as router is running/cutting.
- Shaper Head diameter does not exceed 2\" dia. spec. provided by Thermwood (Auto toolchanger machines).
- Shaper Head does not extend more than 2-1/2\" from collet of toolholder.
- Insure that the arbor/cutter is balanced and rated for the RPM being used
