file path???

Post by Nemanja Vujkovic »

The cnc lost file path from when it makes cnc code to where it loads it in Supper Control.
It's trying to send it to c:\\DATA\\Rolin_Nest\\Cnc-File, and this even dosn' exist.

It shuld be d:\\DATA\\...

Did something similar happened to enyone...
How do i fix this?

thx

CNC files generated by Control Nesting are saved in: D:\\DATA\\Rolling_Nest\\CNC-FILES

If you are using the touch pad mouse, located on the side of the THM controller, it is possible that one of your directories have been accidently dragged and dropped into another location. The easiest way to check this would be to go to WIN Explorer and perform a Search. This will take you to new location where the directories/files reside if they have been accidently misplaced. Once directories/files have been found, simply cut and past them back to correct location.

In addition to this posting; the base path for files which are written and saved when Writing CNC from Control Nesting, is also written in the Machine.ini file. The machine.ini file is loacted in C:\\Rolling Nest directory. If you open this file, you will see the forth line down says DRIVE=\"?\", this should say \"D\". If it has been altered, it should be returned to the correct factory setting of \"D\".
