For Sale???

Postby Terry Davis » Thu, Jun 05 2008, 8:00PM

Off topic I know, but I was wondering if the moderators of the forum ever considered a forum area where members could post used shop tools they want to sell...

Is this prohibited? Today, I was looking for the classifieds section that used to be on the Thermwood site to post our machine and couldn't find it.

Hi Terry and Chris,

We have taken the classified section off the Thermwood website mainly because of it being abused. We had certain stipulations that very few actually followed. I would fear the same with a "For Sale" section on the eCabinet forum. We would like to help out our members but having to moderate that forum constantly to make sure that used machinery companies and others from the far east wouldn't overwhelm the "For Sale" forum would be tremendous. If you have any other questions about this, you can give me a call, email me, or post on the forum.

thanks,
Jason Susnjara

Hi Jason,
Could you do something similar to the Beta Testers forum so people who want to post or view on there have to get the OK from Thermwood to get access so joe blogs can't just come along and advertise on there?
