5.45

Post by Marius Gouws »

Good morning
Install Control Nesting v5.44 at the end of last year and everything was a mess. Did a system restore to go back to 5.41 and everything back to normal. When we re-open on Monday I see that there was a 5.45 available and install that, everything seem fine until this morning when I want to cut a simple part that I have created with eCabinets (a square part with a simple cut-out). The machine ramp in where the cut is and then cut into the part itself.
I have included the .twd file.
Must I reinstall 5.41?
Thanks in advance
Marius

Ok
Just tried to cut two partitions with dado's and the same thing happen. The machine ramp in at the dado then cuts into the part by more or less the radius of the cutter, then it reverse (back track) and then carry on by cutting the part.
I have again included the .twd file.

Marius,
The CNC files ar the only things that you have attached. I would like you to send me the export information from your machine, along with the .hsf (cabinet) file from ecabinets.

To get the export information from the machine....
First, open Control Nesting.
Then, click on the "EXPORT" button in the lower right-hand corner.
Save the file to your desktop and attach the .CAB file to the email along with the .hsf file from ecabs.

Send to program@thermwood.com

Thanks
Todd Miller

Marius,
Could you also take a picture of the cut that was made. This would give me a better idea of what is happening. Thanks.

Good afternoon Todd
Thank you, and all the people working on this to solve the problem.
Glad my company made the right choice when they bought this cnc machine.
