I was just reading a flyer that a machinery salesman gave me. They are promoting a label that not only has that part info but also is shown the entire nest printed on the label. They say this gets rid of the need of a printed master list for that nest.
I do find that inexperienced operators take ages to work out the correct part location and then get the sticker location correct. If the Germans can do it, can the Made in the USA do it?
Maybe others could comment if they think it is a worth while addition to control nesting.
Regards
Neville

Re: Labelling idea from the Germans
I have a hard enough time reading A4 sheet printouts, it can only be worse on a 100mm x 50mm lable. Can I get a magnifying glass with that?

Prior to having the thermwood, I used Enroute Wood software for my old machine.
It also printed the nest on the lable with the part blacked out in that nest so I knew what part I was applying the label.
The labels were larger 2"x 4" but I could have a lot of information on them. I do miss those labels.
They were fast and had information on them that I miss having now.
