Extra assembly????

Post by CameronEchols »

I am cutting a decent size job about 70 sheets for a large office in a house I am doing. After cutting the job my assemblers found an extra assembly. It is a second one for Assembly 1 and the labels say BAC1 for the duplicate parts for A1C1. I went back and checked the room and can't find the assembly anywhere. I know if you can add another assembly when you nest the job but I didn't and it would not put a B in front of the assembly on the labels and I nested the job and did not add any assembly's. Has anyone else had this problem before.

The \"B\" indicates the assembly is from the \"Batch\"

I suspect that in addition to the copy of the assembly in the room, you have another one in the batch cabinet area. As you've discovered, cabinets placed in a room and those added to a job via batch are additive.

Yes I don't know what I did but I checked the file and I do have a batch cabinet in their. I did not know that it would write cabinets in the batch area in a cnc file for a room when I did not add it to the cnc. Thanks

Hi Cameron,

Cabinets placed in the room layout and Batch are both part of the esj job.
