problems with barcodes

Post by Mark Hesketh »

since i installed the new update for the control nesting software, i seem to be unable to scan in any barcodes that are generated since the update for offcuts... is this a widespread issue or just me?

We have found the problem and will have an update out next week to address it. For now if you need to load a particular Off-Fall you can do it through the dialog reached through the OffFall button. Just find the matching number and click load. You can also type it in while in the Add Sheet dialog. You must type the entire string. For example with the following string...

$-223562589$

You must include the $ when typing. Once you enter the last $ the Off-Fall will appear.

hey, thanks for attacking the problem so quickly. your temporary solution has a problem as well though... i can't even find the off-fall number in the appropriate dialogue. i will try typing it in directly next time and see if that works, but they aren't appearing in the off-fall list when i look there.

thanks again
