Cherry Entertainment Wall

Post by Peter Walsh »

This is the latest project output.
The countertop and stone fireplace facing have deliberately been made un-matching to remind the customer the counter top is existing and not included in the project (inducement to change it, huh?)

The thick, lower shelf in the first alcove upper cab is actually a flip-up panel to expose the glassware tracks on the bottom of the shelf and to be able to remove glasses. I have always felt those tracks were ugly when viewed on end......anyway, we're in earthquake country.

The Project popped up a little bug in applying the molding. The software won't let some molding create at the length dimension wanted since it would fall in the middle of a carving repeat. TWood knows about this now. Shows up when you take the cab to the DE to make drawings.

regards,

Good looking stuff Peter, is the central opening for the big screen?

Yes Rick,
The two left cabs are in the range of 60\" so they are quite wide. Also, the cabinetry fits into three existing alcoves.

Nice design, again, Peter. I like the idea for the wine glass tracks. I'll have to use that one!

Just picked up an order for this project today. Still working on upgrades though, rope twist columns, etc. I'll post either the updated rendering or the completed photos later.

regards.
