nope...with the miter off - adding the scribes still brings back the holes (only on the right panel!)

Hmmm...then turn the scribes off  .

Something apparently conflicts between the scribes and shelf holes on the right end.

This is one to send to the programmers to figure out.

 thanks Dan!

I've already emailed them and given them all the info we've discovered today.

However, I'd rather keep the scribe - so, guess we'll get rid of the holes on that cabinet and drill them with the blum press after the fact....

Did they ever solve this problem for you ?

I am having the exact same thing occur on a corner cabinet also.

Please let me know if there is a solution.

Thanks

Hi Vince...

I've just returned from a weeks vacation...so I haven't checked my email at the office yet. I'll be happy to let you know if they have had a resolve when I get back into the office.

I'm having a similar problem with my upper corner cabinets, on my right end only, the shelf holes aren't the right depth, their supposed to go in 1/2\" like i set it but it's only going in 1/8\".
I dont know what set this problem off, I never had an issue like this before. When did you guys notice it? Did it just show up all of a sudden?

We didn't actually send the part to the router...I pulled the shelf with holes and we drilled the cabinet on our blum press.

The problem I was having with this particular corner cabinet was the holes were showing up on the wrong side of the right panel.

We did have a problem recently with our router drilling deeper and deeper holes. After checking several things we found our bit was slipping in the collet.

Mark, be certain to post response from programmers. We are now making corner cabinets without shelves and drilling holes mannually because it wants to put the holes on outside of cabinet only on the right end, just like you described. I only got this issue with recent upgrade. Old ones worked fine.

FYI

Here is the response I received from Justin regarding the shelf hole issue in the corner cabinet...

\"This issue is fixed and will be available to them when Version 5.1 is released. (there is nothing we can do until the new version is released). The only suggestion I have as far as a work around for now is to add the adj. shelf without holes and then add them manually with the part editor. It may not be desired, but it would get them by until the release. \"

Thank You
Justin Melhiser

And now you know....the rrrrest of the story!

Mark,

Are you useing a single 5mil drill with a 10mil shank and flat area for set screw. If so my uncle has made these inserts for us that fit in a 3/4\" collet and have a set screw. They work very well for all our different size 10mil shank tools.

If your interested give me a call.

Hey Forrest...

We were using a high speed carbide spur drill bit (set in a 5-6mm collet). It was being used solely for drilling shelving holes. I'm not sure why it started slipping - we've been using it for some time and the nut seemed tight on the collet.

We changed to a 5mm 2 flute spiral upcut...the only other tool I had on hand. At least for the moment it's working fine. What is your suggestion for long term use?

BTW - looking forward to meeting you in Feb...

Mark
