The tabbing is located in the setup of the rolling nest software out at the router....

I have never used the tabbing feature and without being at the controller I'm afraid I can't answer your question.

I'll be in the shop tomorrow, so if I remember I check the settings and see if I can give you a hand.

Jim,

Maybe you should post this question in the \"Thermwood\" forum to get better response. I have only tried the tab feature one time(RN 5.8) and had the same results that you did so I'm not much help either. I'm sure someone can help in the other forum. Sorry I couldn't help...

That was (RN5.8). I don't know what key I hit to get an emoticon.

Jim, I have never had to tab anything. Are you aware you can also skin and then cut through? If that wont work for your app. you might call in to thermwood tech and ask, they are great.

Jim,

I tried to tab once and got exactly what it implies. There is no real benifit as far as I can tell over skinning your parts. I've also noticed a better cut when doing a .015 skin rather than .05 default.

tabbing

Jim,
If you are still having problems with tabbing. Open Control Nesting on the SuperControl and select the \"Export\" option. This will create a database of files that we can use to recreate your Control Nesting settings.
If you will save that file to a disk (flashdrive, etc.) and include the .twd of the part in question then email them to,

program@thermwood.com

we would be happy to have a look at it for you. Please include your contact information in the email.

Thanks,
