Cut list in Ecabinets will not open.

Post by Mark Ruby »

When I try to open the cut list in Ecabinets the following dialog appears:

Could not find installable ISAM
Invalid connection string attribute CREATE_DB
Invalid connection string attribute CREATE_DB
Invalid connection string attribute CREATE_DB
Invalid connection string attribute CREATE_DB
Invalid connection string attribute CREATE_DB
Invalid connection string attribute CREATE_DB
Invalid connection string attribute CREATE_DB
Driver’s SQLSetConnectAttr failed

Any suggestions?

Do you have excel? If not, download a viewer here.

Rick,

All the Excel functions seem to be operating properly but the same dialog keeps popping up every time. The cutlist still will not open.

Rick, I sometimes get a similar error when I have had e-cab open for a long time or I have open and closed a few jobs. I get the same \"Invalid connection string attribute CREATE_DB\" but a memory error. Restarting e-cab always fixes it, minimize/restore does not. This error pops up when I click Reports, cut list. So it is not a problem with Excel. I haven't tried the icon but will next time this happens.

Mark, you might try this.

Go to Start->Run
type Regsvr32 c:\\windows\\system32\\msexcl40.dll
Hit ok.

Then try running the cutlist.

That did the trick! A dialog appeared immediately that said the operation was sucessful. The cut list now opens.

What was wrong in the first place? Can I avoid this happening again?

Thanks,

Mark
