Edgebanding disappears

Post by Paul Ford »

Hi all,
I have found a small issue with batch cabinets which has turned into a rather large issue.
I put all of my viewed end panels in batch cabinets which are basically just the left end of a base frameless cabinet. I have set edgebanding up on all of these parts so it shows on the labels at the router but I have found that after putting all of these parts in batch cabinets, if I change the sheet stock the edgebanding disappears.....
We cut about 5 jobs out in one day and everything ended up getting cut oversize.
If you take the attached panel into batch cabinets then change the material you should see what i mean.
Thanks for any help or fixes on this.
Paul.

Paul,
If you don't change the material thickness, you should be OK. This has been reported. We are looking into it.

Hi Todd,
Thanks very much for that... I never change the board thickness but I do still get the problem. Seems strange.

Paul,
So you get this when you change the sheet stock. Does the thickness differ from the Sheet stock you had originally associated, to the new one you changed it to?

Does that make sense?

Correct.... Well the name and the colour....
There is one thing that I just thought of. I think every time I have done it, the material I am changing \"From\" is grained and the material I am changing \"To\" is not grained.....
