Radius Bar Rail

Post by Brian Shannon »

After lots of trial and error, I finally was able to cut this radius Bar Rail to match a purchased straight rail. My lumber supplier wanted $1280.00 for the radius(12\"). I'll post the tools A.S.A.P., after I'm finished with the Ark. We're expecting LOTS of rain tomorrow. I may post pictures of the Ark too. 'Anyone have plans for Arks? I'm thinking Extira Mdf w/ raised panels.

George,

If I were a Wizard, I could maybe figure out how to make and attach a video of this being cut. I did glue up two blocks of wood @ 2 3/4\" thick and only used one. Maybe I should cut it and give it to my supplier to display at their front counter. It's easy now, all the hard work is done! This was all cut with only a 1/2\" endmill cutter.

Brian

If you have a video file that is small enough to post, just zip it and post it.

Well, I didn't video this one but if I cut another I'll have to tape it.
