part editor shape experiment

Post by greg youngken »

Here are some shapes I've been learning to develope in the part editor. Just trying to see what all is possible, it's getting easier the more I try to push the program and myself. When I have time to finish I will repost.

I like your experiments. I think you are right by experimenting you can quickly learn program limits and gain a firm understanding of how to use the program.

I am in the wine country and that would make a kick ass wine cellar bar area. especially with the uppers shaped the way they are. and the lower kinda looks like a wine barrel.

Thanks guys, do any of you enjoy the part editor, I think it's pretty cool, it has some limitations but that can add to the fun of figuring out how to make it happen, the above shapes where easy once I understood how the editor works. Here is one that was a little harder in case you missed it in the other post.

Greg,

I enjoy working in the Part Editor. It's almost as addicting as any flight simulator I've ever flown, and that's sayin' somethin'! (Just ask my wife.)

Happy Easter.
