STL format

Post by George Davidson »

I made this mantel today in another program but I have to turn it in to
all one solid pice. Before I can turn it in to a STL format.
If I made each pice one STL format can I put it back together
in e-Cabinets :?:

George,
You can load all of them (one by one) into the display part editor. If you have a look at the top left when in DPE you will see a part number. The first one will be 0, second will be 1 etc. To select a specific one you right click on it (watch the number change) To manipulate a specific part, you will see next to the part number, a view block (I think that's what its called, I havent got Ecabs with me) Change it to the appropriate choice (not camera). Now you can align the parts and when satisfied save as HSF in the HSF examples directory. You should now have a display part (mantel) that you can use!
