How do I properly place this?

Post by Al Navas »

I have a sink (a Vendor Item) I would like to place inside a cabinet. HOW do I do it? I just took the course, but it is VERY obvious that I have already forgotten how to do it. Or maybe I did not really learn how to raise vendor items to be level with the cabinet top.

Thanks!

Hi Al, In detail room right click select choose item click display objects select the sink your after select click OK, the sink will be at floor level in your room. Hold shift, right click move to where you like then associate to wall bring up wall elevation and move into position. You can also use your position inputs on the left of the screen. HTH

Thank you, Rick and George! I am just now checking in - and your solutions make so much sense!!! A big DUH on me this time. I think that overload is the best way to describe what happens during the eCabinet Systems course, and for some time afterward - I just don't know how long after the course...

But both of you provided fresh ideas on HOW to do it in the detail room area. I appreciate your quick feedback and suggestions.
