hi
when i open ecab, the program checked to see if an update is needed before the program opens. then, after the update check an error message appears (see attachment) and says failed to create empty document. now i can't get into the program. what do i need to do to correct this? thanks for your help.

Lawrence.......try this. C/Program files/Thermwood/eCabinet systems..........look for a file called \"Update\", click on the file and rerun the update and see if that fixes the problem. I've had something like this happen a couple times.

Hi Mike
The only file I could find is ecab update.exe. It's size is 0 kb and when I try to run it windows says it is not a valid win 32 application. Is this the file you mean? It was the only one with update in it. Thanks for your help.

Looks like the update file is corrupt. Please download and install this update.

hi Rick
I had already downloaded that update and installed it. So i downloaded your update file and uninstalled the previous update and reinstalled with your download and the same error resulted.

Lawrence,

try to uninstalln eCabs, and install it again. The error is maybe deeper than update file!
