Lost leader in line drawing editor!!!!!

Post by Matt Fauller »

I was just doing another measured drawing as usual, and my leader no longer works! I am able to type text, but no line and arrow appears. I've tried everything. Please help. Attached is the job I was working on when it happened if that helps.

All help is greatly appreciated.

Matt,

I worked with your assembly a little bit. My system was a bit sluggish when I was working with it - and THAT was quite unusual.

Soooo.... I looked at memory use:

1. Peak Commit Charge: 1.3 GB !
2. System cache: 793 MB

It seems that this large job is consuming a LOT of memory, and you might run up against max memory on your system.

My guess: The hardware you installed on the components of this assembly.

My recommendation: To get the dimensioned drawings, remove the pulls and all other hardware, and try again. Let us know if it works for you.

Thanks for taking the time Al. However, even when working on a blank page, the leader doesn't show. The same for tables too. But they do print which is weird. I did a system restore, and used the repair utility from the installation disk, and still nothing.

I need a leader!!!!!!
