Manchester China Cab
Hello again members, apologies for my extended absence, things are finally returning to 'normal' around these parts.
I'm hoping one/some of you have had a chance to build/sell/quote the Manchester China Cabinet from the Thermwood Furniture Network. I have a client who is interested in a larger version of it, with perhaps a variation or 2. I need to ballpark a quote for him, to determine if it's worth my (and his) time to modify the existing design and resize it to fit his dining room.
Has anyone built/sold one of these?
What kind of costs were involved? (material/labor/carvings/cutting parts)
Did you modify it in any way?
What kind of markup were you able to achieve?
What percentage of the final selling price accounts for finishing?
How well was it received by the client?
Thanks in advance......
Mike

Congratualtions Mike
The machester was built before we actually took into account of the numbers. The amount that it takes to rent the programs is 92.00 This is the same whether you scale the parts or not. Below is the list of the parts that need to be rented along with the sizes and time to cut. This will give you an idea of wood costs for the carving pieces.

Congrats on your new arrivals, back to the mean old world of making money now! I havent built what your looking for yet, but I am going to be building one of the entertainment centers as soon as I can get to it, I will let you know how it goes.
