Help please moving cabinet in detail room

Post by Steve Dyches »

I couldn't get the search engine to work this morning so, if anyone could help...

In custom layout/ detail room/ elevation view I'm trying to move a 2\" filler panel to a particular distance off the side wall. When I click on the filler and enter the value in one of the dimension fields (left or right) at the left of the screen it enters a value that is 19/32\" greater than what I typed. If I enter 36\" it displays 36 19/32\". 38\" gives me 38 19/32\", etc... Any ideas why?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Steve,

I run into this a lot. I have found the easiest solution is to enter the odd dimension into the move increment box for objects, in this case the 19/32, then hold the shift key and hit the arrow button for whichever direction you need the object to move.

Thanks guys,

Justin I have emailed you the job.

Kerry, I did look at that thread and it sounds just like my problem on a straight 120\"H wall. Regenerating it in the cabinet editor did not help.

I resorted to the incremental move.

Thanks,

Steve
